North East Postcode Lottery winners: Full list for Oct 10-16

People in five North East areas have won £1,000 each in the Postcode Lottery this week. The winning postcodes were drawn between Saturday, October 10th and Friday, October 16th, with Darlington, Houghton-le-Spring and Cramlington among the areas celebrating.

How the Postcode Lottery works

Participants pay £12.50 per month and use their full home postcode as their entry. At least 30% of the ticket price goes directly to charities and local community projects.

Players have raised more than £1.8 billion for thousands of good causes in Britain and internationally. Charities supported include Maggie's, Alzheimer’s Society, Dogs Trust, Mind and NSPCC, as well as thousands of small local community projects.

With daily £1,000 draws, weekly Saturday prizes and multi-million-pound shared pots, there are plenty of chances for people in the North East to win each week.
