Nicola Peltz Beckham has shared a heartfelt tribute to her husband Brooklyn Beckham as the couple celebrated the sixth anniversary of their engagement, against the backdrop of a reported rift with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
Nicola's Instagram Tribute
The actress and socialite took to Instagram on Wednesday with a touching post, republishing photos from Brooklyn's birthday in March. She wrote: "I can't believe we got engaged 6 years ago today. I feel like I've known you my whole life, you're my best friend and my forever love wrapped in one. I love you with my whole heart. You're the kindest man I've ever met and I'm so happy I get to do life with you. Thank you for being the magical you."
Brooklyn's Response
Brooklyn also marked the milestone with his own post, saying: "6 years ago I asked my best friend to marry me x You are my girl, my beautiful wife, and my whole heart. Every day with you feels like the best adventure, and I still can't believe I get to do life with you. You make everything brighter, funnier, sweeter, and more magical just by being you. I can't wait to keep laughing, dreaming, and staying young with you forever. I love you more than words, Nicola xx."
Engagement and Early Support
The couple got engaged in July 2020, roughly eight months after they reportedly began dating. At the time, Brooklyn announced the news on Instagram, writing: "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes. I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you baby xx."
Brooklyn's mother, Victoria Beckham, also expressed her joy, posting: "The most exciting news!! We could not be happier that Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Anne Peltz are getting married! Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness. We all love you both so much x." Nicola responded warmly, commenting that she loved Victoria and felt like "the luckiest girl."
Family Feud Escalates
However, relations have since soured. In January 2026, Brooklyn publicly accused his parents of being "controlling" and attempting to "ruin" his relationship with Nicola. He also claimed his mother had backed out of designing Nicola's wedding dress, though other sources suggest Nicola declined the offer.
Victoria addressed the feud for the first time in a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, stating that she and David "love our children so much" and have "always tried to be the best parents." David, however, has refused to comment, telling Variety: "To be honest, I'm sorry to stop you there, but that's a private matter. That's the one thing that I don't want to talk about."
Vow Renewal Without Family
The couple reportedly held a vow renewal ceremony earlier this year, which did not include the Beckhams, further highlighting the estrangement. Despite the family tensions, Nicola and Brooklyn continue to publicly affirm their commitment to each other.
