Ndiaye's Resurgence
In June, it emerged that Ndiaye had turned down several new contract offers since the turn of the year. Reports linked him with a move to Manchester United and Al Hilal, but his father dismissed such talk, saying his son is "not going anywhere" and "not the type to prioritise money over his career."
Everton manager David Moyes has maintained that Ndiaye is not for sale. The Senegal international, who scored Everton's final goal at Goodison Park and first at Hill Dickinson Stadium, has been a key player for the club.
Wide Options Emerge
Everton now have four encouraging wide players: Tyrique George, Tyler Dibling, Brennan Johnson, and Ndiaye. George scored his first goal for the club in the 3-1 win over Newcastle, while Dibling has shown promise despite being denied by Lille's goalkeeper. Johnson made his debut off the bench, displaying his pace.
This depth in wide areas raises questions about whether Everton might resist a move for Jack Grealish, who has been linked with a return. The club could instead focus on signing a new right-back, which remains an essential purchase.
