Sports fans believe they have uncovered a secret romance between LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau and Mikayla Demaiter, who has been dubbed the 'world's sexiest ice hockey player'. Internet sleuths have claimed the pair are dating after spotting clues on social media.
Clues at LIV Golf Event
Demaiter, a former goaltender from Canada, shared a selfie at a LIV Golf event with a Crushers GC cap visible in the background. DeChambeau, 32, is the captain of the Crushers golf team, and fans theorised the photo may have been taken inside his gym.
According to US Weekly, the two are dating and "very happy" together. An insider told the outlet: "They are both pretty private when it comes to relationships." Neither Demaiter nor DeChambeau has publicly commented on the relationship.
From Hockey to Modelling
Demaiter once played as a goaltender for the Bluewater Hawks in Ontario, but an ACL injury ended her hockey career. She now focuses on modelling and her social media presence.
In an emotional post announcing her retirement from hockey, she wrote: "Dear Hockey, It is time to say goodbye. It is time to turn the page and move to the next chapter of my life, for the first time you will not be my number one focus."
She added: "I want to thank you for the places we’ve gone together. I also want to thank you for all the friends you have made me. My family sends their best as well. I know they will definitely miss seeing us together."

DeChambeau, a two-time US Open winner, is widely recognised as one of the best golfers in the world. He has been single for the past few years, with his last reported relationship being with former University of Texas golfer Hunter Nugent, which ended in September 2022.
