Michael Sheen has emerged as the favourite to win the second season of Celebrity Traitors, while Hannah Fry faces mounting pressure ahead of the next banishment, according to new odds from ActionNetwork.com.
Following episode four, the bookmaker puts Hannah at 3/7 to be banished next, giving her an implied probability of 70 per cent. The broadcaster and mathematician could be in trouble after the latest round of events left the Faithful with more questions than answers.
Hannah Fry's uncertain future
With more than half of the Faithful celebrities on her back and Hannah's status as a Traitor putting her out of the running to be 'murdered', it looks like her castmates won't back down until she is banished from the castle.
The bookmaker said: "When it comes to the next banishment, Hannah Fry carries the highest odds of getting banished at 3/7; she was left in an unfortunate position after only two people were put up for murder and both survived - leaving little chance the faithful will drop the theory that one of them is a traitor."
Additionally, the company believes that James Blunt could be the next star likely to face the chop, with odds of 3/1. The singer-songwriter could pay the price for leading the latest accusations against Julie.
Michael Sheen's quiet strategy
Due to his strong intuition that Julie was a Traitor and getting other celebrities on his side, this could eventually lead to many believing he is a Traitor himself. Many of the celebs could begin to believe he only wanted to get rid of Julie because she was a strong player with many theories on who could be playing against the Faithful.
While Hannah and James face an uncertain future in the castle, Michael Sheen remains a favourite to win the series. The actor's odds have shortened to 9/4, giving him an implied 30 per cent chance of taking the crown.
The 57-year-old, who is a Faithful, has managed to stay quiet at the round table, keeping most of his theories to himself. Indeed, the hugely famous actor has had little screen time four episodes in to the BBC series.
Traitor victory odds
This has resulted in his name never being brought up as a threat, either at the round table or around the castle.
The bookmakers believe that, if the Traitors win the game again, it could be a joint Traitor victory for Maya Jama and James Acaster. With both the stars going seemingly undetected around the round table, they stand a chance of clinching a win.
A spokesperson for Action Network states: "Overall, Michael Sheen remains the favourite to win the series, with his odds of winning shortening to 9/4. Both original traitors now fill the second and third spots as the most likely winners with James Acaster at 4/1 and Maya Jama at 13/2, respectively; neither has drawn any major suspicion yet and both continue to float seamlessly through the game."
