Meghan Markle took to Instagram on Tuesday evening to celebrate a “new chapter” following her relocation to the UK with Prince Harry and their two children. The Duchess of Sussex, 45, shared a photograph of a sparkling wine on social media, confirming that her brand As Ever would begin selling the new wine within days.
In the post, Meghan said there is a “new chapter to celebrate”. She also confirmed that the sparkling wine would be launched by her brand on September 3.
Reserve Brut launch details
She wrote: “A new chapter to celebrate. Introducing our Reserve Brut. Crafted in the traditional Méthode Champenoise and sourced from Napa Valley, this elegant sparkling wine was made for gathering, toasting, and savoring life’s beautiful moments. Available 9/3 at Wine.AsEver.com.”
It is believed that while she is now based in the UK, the sparkling wine – like her other As Ever products – will not be available for a UK audience to buy.
Family's return to the UK
The post came after Harry and Meghan, alongside Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, moved their lives back to the UK just days ago. The family flew from California to the UK on a private jet, landing at Birmingham Airport last week. They were then driven to their new UK home, which is a private, rented property according to reports.
It marks the first time the family have lived in the UK since 2020, with Harry and Meghan having moved to America six years ago after quitting royal duty. Their return to the UK will not change the fact they are still no longer working royals.
School enrolment and residence
While there are claims that the move back to Britain is not a forever move, it is believed the family will stay in Harry’s home country for some time. This has been shown by the fact Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, have been enrolled into a British school.
The location of the family’s new UK home, and the children’s school, has not been confirmed for security reasons, however it is known to be outside of London. The home is a private, non-royal residence.
