The Liverpool ECHO has published a selection of tributes and funeral notices for loved ones who have recently passed away. The announcements appear in the print edition each day and are also available online, giving families and friends the chance to celebrate the lives of those who have died and pay respect to the health and care teams who looked after them.

Funeral services and tributes
Honora Ambrose, aged 74, known as Honor, died peacefully. A Requiem Mass will be held at St Agnes & St. Aidan RC Church on Thursday 22nd October at 10:30am, followed by interment at Knowsley Cemetery. Donations to Willowbrook Hospice are welcome.
Stella Mary Baker passed away on 29th September 2026. Her funeral service is on Thursday 22nd October at St Paul's Church, Town Row, West Derby, followed by Springwood Crematorium. Family flowers only.
John Brian Christopher Barton died peacefully on 4th October, aged 89. His funeral service will be at Southport Crematorium on 23rd October at 11am. Donations to Macmillan Cancer Support are welcome.
Phillip Richard Batey passed away suddenly at home on 2nd October, aged 74. His service will be at Walton Lea, Warrington, on Wednesday 28th October at 12 noon. Family flowers only or donations to Halton Haven.
Paul Benson passed away at Southport Hospital surrounded by his family. His funeral service and celebration of his life will be held at West Lancashire Crematorium on Friday 16th October at 4.30pm, with a live stream available. Donations to British Heart Foundation are being received.

Linda Barbara Bluett passed away peacefully on 29th September. Her funeral service is at Springwood Crematorium on Wednesday 21st October at 2.15pm. Donations can be made to Amnesty International.
Michael John Booth died peacefully in hospital on 22nd September, aged 81. His funeral service is at West Lancashire Crematorium on Wednesday 14th October at 1:30pm. Donations to Macmillan Cancer Support and Help For Heroes are being collected.
Josephine Burger, known as Josie, died suddenly on 24th September, aged 86. A Requiem Mass will be held at St Clare's Church on Tuesday 27th October at 12 noon, followed by interment at Allerton Cemetery.
John Cain passed away suddenly at home in Bury on 29th September, aged 81. His funeral service is on Thursday 22nd October at Our Lady of Reconciliation de la Salette, followed by committal at Anfield Crematorium. Online donations to the Alzheimer's Society are welcome.
Sandra Jennifer Chegwin, aged 81, died peacefully. Her funeral service is at The Rosemary Chapel, Springwood Crematorium on Tuesday 27th October at 2pm. Donations to Willowbrook Hospice are welcome.
Thomas Robert Evans, known as Tucker, aged 82, died peacefully. His funeral service will be at St Helens Crematorium on Friday 30th October at 10am. Donations to Willowbrook Hospice are welcome.
Bridget Teresa Finn died peacefully, aged 79. A Funeral Mass will be held at St John's Church, New Ferry, on Tuesday 27th October at 9.30am, followed by cremation at Landican Crematorium. Donations to Scleroderma and Raynaud's UK are welcome.

Sandra Elizabeth Graham passed away peacefully in hospital on 25th September 2026, aged 81. Doreen Muriel Griffith passed away peacefully on 1st October 2026, aged 95. Her funeral service will be at Landican Crematorium on Thursday 22nd October at 3:30pm. Donations to Alzheimer's Society are welcome.
Pauline Higgins passed away peacefully aged 81. Her funeral service will take place at Springwood Crematorium on Monday October 19th at 10:30am. Donations to Marie Curie are welcome.

Alexander Levett passed away aged 84 at Colchester Hospital. His funeral will take place on Monday 19th October at Blessed Sacrament Church, followed by cremation at Anfield Crematorium.
Christine Therase Martindale, nee Budworth, passed away peacefully, aged 76. Her funeral service will be at SS Peter and Paul's RC Church, Crosby, on 16th October at 11am, followed by burial in the Church Cemetery. Donations to St. Joseph's Hospice are welcome.
Elizabeth McAdam, known as Bette, passed peacefully at home on 11th October 2026. Her funeral details have not yet been announced.
Vera McInnes died peacefully on 8th October, aged 86. Her funeral service will be at Springwood Crematorium on Monday 2nd November at 1.30pm, followed by interment at Toxteth Park Cemetery. Donations to Guide Dogs for the Blind are welcome.
