Liam Gallagher has insisted there are currently "no announcements" coming from Oasis as he attempted to calm frantic fans amid a fresh wave of reunion rumours.
The singer/songwriter, 53, was bombarded with questions on social media as speculation surrounding a possible Oasis return gathered pace with Liam eventually telling fans to "chill the f*** out".
Liam's blunt replies
Replying to one fan who asked: "What's happening?" Liam replied: "F*** ALL".
Another asked about whispers of a return to Knebworth, prompting the Oasis frontman to hit back: "People will say anything these days to get a few likes clicks tings."
And when another fan suggested Liam could be deliberately distracting everyone ahead of an imminent announcement, he offered a typical random Liam response. He wrote: "Look into my eyes not around my eyes rite into my eyes thank you now what's your bank details."
Fans remain unconvinced
But Liam's increasingly cryptic replies have done little to calm the Oasis faithful. When a fan asked whether he didn't want people to get excited, he replied: "Yes of course be excited smash things up but these things take time to announce if there getting announced at all I'm all for announcing things if they need to be announced but just coz you got something to announce doesn't mean you should announce."
And when another fan pointed out that his repeated denials were only making people think something was happening, Liam said: "Look if it happens it happens I don't know why everyone rushing around it's making me anxious chill the f*** out you mad f***ers."
Knebworth speculation swirls
Asked about the growing reports of a Knebworth return and a rumoured residency at Manchester's Etihad Stadium, Liam told his followers it's all just gossip. He tweeted: "There just trying to smoke us out it won't work there are no announcements."
The latest frenzy comes as Oasis fans mark 30 years since the band's legendary Knebworth shows, which saw around 250,000 people gather on the Hertfordshire estate across two nights in August 1996.
Speculation about a return to the iconic venue has been swirling for months but it has intensified dramatically in recent days. The promoter behind Oasis' huge Live '25 reunion tour has reportedly been granted a licence to hold events at Knebworth, fuelling fresh speculation that the band could return to the site in 2027.
Liam previously ruled out Oasis shows in 2026, telling fans in December that they were "not doing anything in 2026" and insisting there was "nothing going on next year except the WC." He also revealed that he had spoken to brother Noel about the army of fans demanding answers, and said that Noel called them "unhinged" during a recent conversation.
