Jane McDonald has been flooded with support after announcing the 'final ever' run of shows for one of her most successful ventures.
Yorkshire native Jane first rose to fame after appearing on BBC's The Cruise in 1998. That same year she released her debut album, which spent a staggering three weeks at the top of the charts.
A career of sold-out shows and TV appearances
Jane has gone on to have sold out shows across the world, including at the historic Royal Albert Hall and The MGM Grand in Las Vegas. She has released 11 albums in total, including Living the Dream, which was released back in March.
Outside of her music career, Jane was a popular presence on Loose Women for over a decade. Known for sharing her opinion on the big news stories and topics of the day, Jane announced her departure from the panel in 2014.
If that wasn't enough, Jane presented the travel shows Jane & Friends, Holidaying with Jane McDonald, Jane McDonald: My Yorkshire, Jane McDonald: Lost in Japan and Jane McDonald: From Pole to Pole.
Details of the final voyage
For many years Jane has been inviting fans who share her love of cruises to join her to sail the seas. Sadly, the Queen of the Seas has announced that her lavish voyage will happen one final time next year.
The seven-day voyage will take place between September 24 and October 1, 2027. The cruise on Ambassador Cruise's flagship, Ambience, will see her bow out from the seas.
Joining Jane on the cruise is popular Irish country singer Nathan Carter and drag songstress Mary Mac. Cruise with Jane McDonald 2027 will depart from London Cruise Terminal before visiting Cobh, Belfast and Cherbourg.
Those who nab tickets for the event will get to enjoy the Captain's Gala Dinner and Baked Alaska Parade, captain's cocktail party, spa access, the use of a gym, swimming pool and hot tubs, as well as round-the-clock entertainment.
Prices, packages and booking details
On top of that, Jane is going to make special appearances throughout the week. Attendees will see her hosting quizzes and games of Bingo.
Prices for the cruise start at £899 per person, based on two people sharing an inside cabin. Those who choose to get tickets through pre-sale can also upgrade to the Ambassador Fare, for an additional £149 per person.
The package comes with the Expedition drinks package, which includes all premium and house-brand spirits, wines, premium teas and coffees, non-alcoholic beverages, including soft drinks.
Fans can register now on Jane's website before the pre-sale goes live on Friday, October 9. General sale will be available on Monday, October 12, at 10am.
Announcing the news, Jane said on Instagram: "I'm thrilled to announce that we'll be setting sail one more time with Cruise with Jane McDonald, visiting Ireland, Northern Ireland and France from 24 Sep - 1 Oct 2027.
"I'll be performing two new headline shows, joined by very special guests @iamnathancarter and @marymacofficial, with more guests yet to be revealed.
