GK Barry has claimed that Bradley Walsh "hated" her after she tried to strike up a conversation with him at Soccer Aid, the annual charity football match for UNICEF.
The 27-year-old Loose Women panellist made the admission on her podcast, Saving Grace, during a chat with guest Chloe Burrows. Both women had taken part in the celebrity football event and reflected on their encounter with the ITV presenter.
Blunt Response on the Pitch
GK Barry said: "Bradley Walsh hated me and Chloe. If there was a word for more than hated, it would be that."
Recalling the moment they met, she continued: "Do you remember we walked out and he was there and I went, 'I love The Chase', and he went, 'Get your boots on'. I was like… 'S**t.'"
Chloe Burrows then joked: "Has anyone told him it's for charity? For a laugh? To raise money for UNICEF? A really important cause?"
Another Awkward Moment
GK Barry also described a second uncomfortable moment when they were asked to speak into microphones for a social media video. She claimed Bradley shouted: "Quick. Get them back on," which left her thinking "F***ing hell."
The Loose Women star went viral earlier this year after missing a pass from teammate Tom Grennan because she was busy doing a celebration dance on the pitch. The ball rolled past her shortly after she was subbed into the game as a midfielder, and she was quickly taken back off.
The match featured football legends Wayne Rooney, Jordi Alba, Jill Scott and Dimitar Berbatov, alongside celebrities including Usain Bolt, Olly Murs, Tom Hiddleston, Robbie Williams and Owen Cooper.
