An 86 rating is enough to secure a spot among the top 20 Premier League players in the game. However, that same score wouldn't be enough to break into the top 20 overall when factoring in players from La Liga, the Bundesliga and other elite competitions.

Nine players in the English top flight share an 86 rating. Among them are Chelsea's sole representative in the top 20, £115m midfielder Moises Caicedo, along with Liverpool's nine-figure signings Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz.
Arsenal boast three players rated 86, while Bukayo Saka stands as their sole representative at 87. He shares that ranking with Manchester City captain Ruben Dias and Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson, a score which also matches Paris Saint-Germain skipper Marquinhos for context.
Climbing the rankings
Climbing to 88, four additional Premier League stars feature, with three hailing from the champions. Declan Rice, David Raya and William Saliba are accompanied by Virgil van Dijk, who holds the distinction of being Liverpool's highest-rated player.
At 89, the game's top-rated goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma appears alongside Arsenal centre-back Gabriel and Manchester United playmaker Bruno Fernandes. Predictably, Erling Haaland tops the rankings with a score of 91 - the highest rating awarded to any current player across all leagues.
