Emmerdale actors Jeff Hordley and Zoe Henry, known for their roles as Cain Dingle and Rhona Goskirk, have launched a new project outside the ITV soap: they are sharing their real-life allotment adventures on Instagram. The couple, who have been together for over three decades, met at drama school in the early 1990s and married in 2003, the same year they both first appeared in the soap.

Their joint venture was highlighted during Wednesday's This Morning (August 12), as Sharon Marshall delivered her soap highlight of the week to Andi Peters and Rochelle Humes. She clarified it was going to actors Jeff and Zoe, as footage from their Instagram profile was shown to ITV audiences.
As Andi asked what was occurring, Sharon elaborated: "They've opened up their real-life allotments at home, and it's Jeff bringing out sugarpeas and his beetroots. It's lovely!"
"It's lovely, calming. They take you around the allotment, and they tell you what they're harvesting this week," she added.
Fans praise wholesome content
Rochelle praised their joint venture, describing it as a 'wholesome' activity before confessing it's the sort of content she wants to encounter on her own feed. On their profile, followers can observe them gathering vegetables from their allotment, alongside progress reports on how various crops are developing.
In one clip, they were joined by fellow cast member Danny Miller, who portrays Aaron Dingle, as they gave him a guided tour of their flourishing plot. It appears that soap enthusiasts are lapping up the wholesome content, with many leaving comments on the posts, applauding the acting couple for showcasing their beloved pastime.
