Noah Dingle actor Jack Downham has confirmed his exit from Emmerdale after 17 years, following his character's sudden departure from the village this week. The 24-year-old, who has played Noah since 2009, took to Instagram to announce the news, writing: "Noah Dingle over & out. What a b****y beautiful place to have worked for 17 years!"
On-screen exit
In episodes this week, Noah left the village for a new job opportunity in Dusseldorf, Germany, in a seemingly sudden and unexpected exit. He didn't even tell his mum Charity Dingle until the last minute, leaving her both shocked and devastated.
Soap watchers were left confused by the scenes, wondering if this was a permanent exit for Noah. Jack later added in another post: "So grateful for the past 17 years and thank you all for your support for me and Noah!!!"
