Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) confronts Doctor Caitlin Todd (Caroline Harker) in upcoming Emmerdale episodes, after learning that she raped Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins). Charity revealed the secret during Thursday's ITV soap, first admitting she slept with Ross Barton (Michael Parr) and then disclosing the situation with baby Leyla. Mack was reeling when Charity added that Doctor Todd had sexually assaulted her and was blackmailing her over Leyla.

At the hospital, Mack confronts Caitlin, who denies the rape. She tries to manipulate him with lies and a feigned apology, but Mack shuts her down. Vowing to see her imprisoned, he promises to kill Todd if she ever touches Charity again. As security guards approach, Mack's threat raises stakes given Caroline Harker's departure from the role.
Police Involvement
Later in the week, police arrive to question Mackenzie. It remains unclear whether Doctor Todd reported him or if Mack attacked her. With a village attack imminent, Mack's threat may foreshadow Dr Todd's death.
