Coronation Street fans appear to be concerned for a Weatherfield legend as they are adamant they have rumbled what Lucy Parkinson is really hiding following her arrival.
As those who follow the ITV soap, which is filmed in Salford, know, the teenager arrived on the cobbles last week following the death of her mother, Rachel, and the imprisonment of her father, Richie Parkinson, who is accused of his wife's murder.
Richie's Arrival and Rachel's Death
Corrie fans will recall that they were only recently introduced to Tim Metcalfe's cousin, Richie, for the first time and he was soon seen spending time sleeping on Tim's sofa, admitting he was experiencing a rocky patch with his wife, Rachel.
Tim advised Richie to try to sort things out with Rachel, so he headed home, but he accidentally left his wallet behind. When Tim returned later on, he was left in shock as he saw Richie's shirt covered in blood and Rachel lying lifeless on the floor.
Lucy Comes to Stay
The next time we headed to Weatherfield, viewers saw Tim and his wife, Sally, sitting in shocked silence after a sleepless night. Soon, DS Lisa Connor-Swain called round and confirmed that they had charged Richie with the murder of his wife.
Lisa informed Tim and Sally that his daughter, Lucy, has been taken into care, while Richie claims he acted in self-defence. But Lucy has since ended up in Tim and Sally's care, after her placement fell through and Tim felt like he needed to look out for his previously unseen family member.
However, Lucy is proving to be quite the troubled teen, and is not making things easy for Sally and Tim, and was last week seen starting a fight with Lily Platt.
Fan Theories Point to Lucy
Now, Corrie fans are concerned that Sally could find herself in Lucy's firing line, while also sharing the theory that, due to the temper she has been showing, she is the one who is really responsible for Rachel's death.
