The Guardian has issued corrections to two recent articles. A piece on hackers stealing personal details from DfE and police databases incorrectly stated that addresses of people who contacted the Ask the Police service were taken; it should have said email addresses.
Another article about Yvette Cooper MP incorrectly said she took maternity leave in the early 90s; she actually did so in 2001 as a junior health minister. This error appeared only in print.
