Richard E. Grant's chances of winning Celebrity Traitors have dramatically fallen after he accidentally revealed he was a Traitor during the first episode. Bookies now give the actor just a 0.5 per cent probability of winning the series, a sharp drop from his initial 18.2 per cent.

On October 1, Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands welcomed 21 celebrities to take on the game of deception. After being selected as a Traitor, Grant's reserved demeanour changed, but he soon spilled the beans to his fellow contestants before the night ended.
His slip-up shocked both celebrities and viewers, causing him to fall down the bookies' odds. He now has the highest probability of being banished at the first Round Table, with an 80 per cent chance according to bookmakers.
Fan reactions and new odds
Fans shared their bewilderment online, with one branding him the "worst Traitor since Alan Carr" and another joking he is already a "hall of fame Traitors contestant."
Ahead of the series, bookies at ActionNetwork.com had listed actor Michael Sheen as the favourite, followed by Grant. The fresh odds see Sheen's chances increase to 27 per cent, while comedian Romesh Ranganathan has moved into second place with an 18 per cent probability, followed by Sebastian Croft.
Banishment predictions
At the end of Friday's episode (October 2), Grant tried to backtrack on his Traitor statement as fellow celebrities put him under the spotlight at the Round Table. If banished, he would become the first Traitor to be kicked off at the first banishment in UK history.
Also potentially up for banishment are former Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock (15 per cent) and actor Bella Ramsey (10 per cent), both of whom had interactions with Ross Kemp that led him to believe he had been killed in plain sight.
With only two stars up for murder following Friday's buried alive mission, bookies predict Professor Hannah Fry will be exiting the show, despite being up against Jerry Hall. Fans will have to wait for the outcome on Thursday night (October 8) as the final episode left a cliffhanger.
