The Celebrity Traitors is returning to BBC One this week, with Claudia Winkleman hosting and 21 new celebrity players heading to the Scottish Highlands for the second series of the spin-off reality gameshow.
The series begins on BBC One and iPlayer on Thursday, October 1, with an extra-long opening episode in which Winkleman decides who becomes a Traitor and who becomes a Faithful. Set in a Scottish castle, the celebrity contestants, mostly known as Faithfuls, try to identify the Traitors among them, who eliminate players during the night. The stars compete for a cash prize of up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.
When and What Time Does Celebrity Traitors Start?
The Celebrity Traitors airs at 8pm on Thursday, October 1 on BBC One. The series continues with two episodes per week on Thursday and Friday evenings at 8pm.
Each episode is followed by the official video podcast The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, hosted by Ed Gamble, who is joined by banished and murdered players and previous celebrity and non-celebrity players for a debrief and reactions to the latest betrayals, mind games and manipulations.
Viewers can see how Winkleman chooses her Traitors in Traitor or Faithful? Claudia Decides, available from 9.15pm on BBC iPlayer on Thursday. New information is revealed as she gets to know the players on a more personal level, interrogating their true intentions.

Who Won Series One of Celebrity Traitors?
The first series of The Celebrity Traitors aired on the BBC last autumn, with its finale reaching a peak of 15.4 million viewers, according to the broadcaster. The cast included actors Celia Imrie and Nick Mohammed, singer Paloma Faith, author and actor Sir Stephen Fry, broadcaster Jonathan Ross and comedian Alan Carr, who won as a Traitor.
