Jamie Carragher has questioned Arsenal's reported willingness to sell Myles Lewis-Skelly after the 19-year-old impressed in the Gunners' 3-0 Community Shield victory over Manchester City.
Lewis-Skelly provided a brilliant assist for Riccardo Calafiori to open the scoring within the first 30 seconds. Kai Havertz doubled the lead before Martin Odegaard added a third after half-time.
Carragher's social media reaction
Writing on social media, Carragher said: 'MLS role in that Arsenal goal! Are Arsenal really looking to push him out'. He also warned Manchester City that they 'have to keep Rodri', who missed the match amid speculation linking him with Barcelona.
Lewis-Skelly, who broke into Arsenal's midfield late last season, was reportedly offered to Chelsea and Manchester United, with a £45m price tag mentioned. He has six England caps but was left out of Thomas Tuchel's World Cup squad.

Ally McCoist also praised the youngster on TNT Sports commentary: 'I think he's been outstanding, I really do. I think he's been terrific.'
Arsenal begin their Premier League title defence against Coventry City on Friday, while Manchester City host Bournemouth.
