Adam Sandler's Marriage Advice to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Revealed
Adam Sandler's Marriage Advice to Swift and Kelce

Adam Sandler, who officiated Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding at Madison Square Garden this weekend, gave the couple simple yet profound marriage advice: 'keep kissing.' Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid revealed the nugget of wisdom during a Salt Lake City event on July 5.

Sandler's Advice: 'Keep Kissing'

Andy Reid shared that Sandler, married to actress Jackie Sandler since 2003, told the newlyweds the secret to a lasting relationship is frequent affection. 'He told them to keep kissing. So, in its simplest form, that’s a good thing,' Reid said. 'It’s hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss or your wife gives you a kiss. Make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to do it. Knock it out, and you won’t have problems.' Reid described Sandler's speech as 'simple,' 'hysterical,' and 'phenomenal,' adding, 'He’s crazy, but he did a great job in getting them married with a lot of humour.'

A $20 Million Fairytale Wedding

The wedding, held at Madison Square Garden, transformed the venue into a medieval fantasy with white bannisters, giant trees, a red carpet, and custom monogrammed pieces featuring the couple's logo: two interlocking Ts carved into cream woodwork. According to a TMZ source, the affair cost over $20 million and was described as 'Alice in Wonderland meets The Wizard of Oz.' The guest list included Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Sabrina Carpenter, and Jennifer Lopez, with performances by Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney. The bride wore Christian Dior Haute Couture, custom Christian Louboutin shoes, and Cartier jewellery.

Sandler's Connection to the Couple

Sandler has close ties to both Swift and Kelce. His daughters, Sadie and Sunny, are lifelong Swifties, and Kelce was cast in the upcoming Happy Gilmore 2 after publicly expressing his desire to be in the film. Sandler previously praised Kelce on the New Heights podcast, saying, 'When you guys first started dating, my family was like, “Yes. Look how good they are together. He’s a gentleman and she’s having so much fun.”' Sandler also noted Swift's impact on his family: 'Taylor in our house, every tune, they knew every word. I loved listening to her in the car. I love what she had to say, every message, every melody... what she means to young girls, what she means to women.'
