Anne Catherine McQueen (Nee Fields) passed away peacefully aged 75 years. She was reunited with her beloved son Mark, a loving wife to Doug, and mother to Andrew. Her funeral service will take place on Monday 24th August at 12.15pm at All Saints Church, Childwall, followed by committal at Springwood Crematorium. Family flowers only, with donations welcomed for National Deaf Children's Society.
Thomas Harold Neil (Tom) died, with a tribute reading: "MAY THE LORD KEEP YOU SAFE & WATCH OVER US ALL" LOVE YOU DAD xxxxx. He was a much loved husband to June, dad to Shelley and Tracy, and reunited with brother Steven. The family thanked neighbours, friends, and staff at Arrowe Park Hospital and ward M1 at Clatterbridge Hospital. His funeral service will be held at St Mary's Church Eastham on Tuesday 11th August 2026 at 11am, followed by burial at Plymyard Cemetery.
Ethel Nelson passed away on 9 August 2026 at Worcester Hospital at age 95. She retired in 1991 after 15 years at The Giro Bank, following many years as a clerk at Merseyside Food Products. She lived in Bootle until 1977, then moved to Ormskirk/Southport in 1981. A celebration of her life will be held in the Autumn, with donations to the Alzheimer's Society.

Margaret O'Hare died on 05/08/2026 aged 94 years. She was a beloved wife of George, mum of David and Angela, and devoted nan of Natalie, Charlotte, Abigail, and Millie. Cremation will be at Rosemary Chapel, Springwood on Thursday 20th August at 10am. No flowers, but donations welcome to Dementia UK.
Colette Mary Planche passed away on 4th August 2026 after fighting lung cancer. She was a devoted wife to Stan, mother to Samuel, Amy, and Eve, and grandmother to James, Bethany, Joshua, Luca, and Anthony. Her funeral will take place on Friday 21st August 2026 at West Lancashire Crematorium at 2:30pm, followed by a celebration at St Gregory's Social Club, Lydiate. Donations are being collected for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.
Sue Porter passed away at home on 7th August 2026. She was a devoted mum to Andrew, Courtney, Natalie, and Daniel. A celebration of her life will be held at West Lancashire Crematorium on Tuesday 1st September 2026 at 12:30pm.
Margaret Reardon passed away peacefully on 20th July aged 89 years. A Requiem Mass will take place at St Bedes Church at 10am on Wednesday 26th August, followed by committal at Widnes Crematorium. Donations will be received for Cancer Research.
Frances Sanders passed away after a short illness at Woodlands Hospice. She was a devoted mother to Jenna and Katie. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday 27th August at St Anthony's RC Church at 11.00am, followed by committal at Anfield Crematorium at 12 noon.

Philip Scott passed away peacefully on 27th July 2026. He was a devoted husband to Heather and father to Jessica and Charlotte. At his request, there will be no funeral, but a party to celebrate his life. Donations are being received for Cancer Research to support research of Oesophageal Cancer.
Eva Simpson (Nee McGachey), aged 82 years, was reunited with her beloved daughter Jane. Her funeral service and committal will be held on Friday 21st August at Springwood Crematorium (Myrtle Chapel) at 12.45pm.
Carole Wendy Sinnott died peacefully on Monday 3rd August 2026 in a care home in Macclesfield, aged 81 years. She was the wife of the late Michael, mother of James and Jennifer, and grandmother of Catherine, Anna, and Max. The funeral service will take place at 1.30 p.m. on Thursday 27th August at Prestbury Methodist Church, followed by a private committal at Macclesfield Crematorium. Donations may be made to Crossroads Café, Crosby or St Joseph's Hospice, Thornton.
Geoffrey Stewart (Geoff), aged 79, of Aughton Road, Southport, passed away peacefully at home. His funeral will be at Southport Crematorium on Wednesday, 19th August at 11:00 am, followed by a wake at his home.
Patricia Sweeney (Patsy) died peacefully with her family by her side, aged 79 years. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday 25th August at St Anthony's RC Church, Scotland Road at 11.00am, followed by committal at Anfield Crematorium at 12 noon.
Carol and Andrew Tinsley (Mother & Son) passed away on 10th and 11th July 2026, aged 46 and 70 years respectively. Their funeral will be held on Tuesday 11th August 2026 at St Johns Church The Evangelist Thomas Lane at 1:15pm, followed by interment at Yew Tree Cemetery.
Judith Waters (Judy) passed away peacefully at home on Friday 7th August 2026, aged 72 years. She was a loving wife of 45 years to Keith. A private service will be held at West Lancashire Crematorium, with donations for MIND.
Albert Westhead passed away at home on Thursday 30th July 2026, aged 79 years. His funeral service will be held at West Lancashire Crematorium on Tuesday 18th August 2026 at 4.30pm, with donations for British Heart Foundation.
Eileen White (Nee McDonald) passed away peacefully on 24th July 2026 at Hillside Care Home, Huyton. Her funeral service will take place at Toll Bar, with Prescot United Reform Church on Friday 21st August, followed by a committal at St Helen's Crematorium. Donations for Dementia UK are welcome.
Marie Terese Wilcott (nee Magnani) died peacefully at home, aged 80 years. She was a wife of Richie, mum of Karen, Debbie, Richie, and Natalie, and nan to nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral service will take place on Thursday 20th August at 2.30pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, followed by cremation at Springwood Crematorium. Donations in her memory to Marie Curie are welcome.
