Victim Speaks Out in Rolf Harris Documentary

A victim of Rolf Harris has spoken out for the first time in the new documentary 'Rolf Harris: Primetime Predator', a two-part series launched on Prime Video on June 29, 2026. The series explores the disgraced Australian entertainer's life and criminal conduct, featuring testimony from survivors that has never been publicly disclosed before, alongside disturbing archive material.

Documentary Reveals Pattern of Abuse

The Guardian describes the documentary as 'deeply chilling', highlighting its 'mind-boggling' archive footage, including Harris appearing on 'Jim'll Fix It' with prolific sex offender Jimmy Savile. The review notes: 'From his child safety campaign "Kids can say no" to an awful appearance on Jim'll Fix It, some of the things the TV star was allowed to do beggar belief. In this harrowing film, women who were assaulted by him as girls speak out.'

Prime Video's synopsis states: 'Featuring survivors who have never spoken publicly before, the series brings together the full story of one of entertainment's most disturbing double lives, charting Harris's rise from suburban Perth to the heights of British fame while revealing the pattern of abuse that unfolded behind the scenes for decades. More than a fallen celebrity story, it examines how charisma, institutional loyalty and cultural reverence allowed a predator to flourish and honours the resilience of those who refused to let his crimes be forgotten.'

Victim Cathy's Harrowing Account

One victim, Cathy, reveals in the documentary how she travelled to London with her theatre group in 1986 at age 15. Harris encouraged her to sit on his lap and began to grope her legs. She recalled: 'This is all happening while we're all singing and talking and laughing. It was so bizarre, no one knew anything was going on. I just went really quiet and was in shock, I just thought "I wish my Mum was here". I went to the bathroom and I started to cry, I wasn't sure if it had really happened.'

When she exited the bathroom, Harris was waiting outside the door. 'That's when he assaulted me,' she said. 'He put his fingers inside me and assaulted me and then he just walked away. For that one moment of whatever he got from it - it destroys people's lives. Not just six months or a year, your whole life. Nothing is the same.'

Impact and Legacy

The documentary lays bare decades of abuse, revealing how Harris exploited his position to maintain a regime of manipulation behind closed doors. 'Rolf Harris: Primetime Predator' is available to stream on Prime Video.
