ITV's This Morning has announced a new hosting line-up for the summer holiday period, featuring a series of big names including Paddy McGuinness and Rylan Clark.
The show revealed the roster on Instagram, starting with Paddy McGuinness and Josie Gibson, followed by Andi Peters and Rochelle Humes, then Craig Doyle and Angela Scanlon. Rylan Clark will also return alongside Josie Gibson, while Sian Welby and Joel Dommett are set to host. Craig Doyle appears again with Christine Lampard.
Summer Hosts Announced
Alongside the announcement, This Morning wrote: "Get your passports ready! From sofa to sun lounger, brighten up your mornings with our all-star lineup. This summer only on This Morning."
Usual hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, who have presented together since March 2024, are taking a break during the summer holidays.
Rylan Clark's Return
Fans were particularly excited about Rylan's return, after he left the show last year following controversy over comments on immigration. The former X Factor star said that while immigration has been crucial to the UK's history and culture, citing immigrant doctors saving his mother's life, he believed policy was needed to halt small boats crossing the Channel.
He said: "[The UK] is built on immigration. Legal immigration - a lot of the nurses, the doctors that have saved my mum's life, have come over here from other countries. They're living a great life, they're paying into this tax system, they're helping this country thrive."
He added: "I find it absolutely insane that all these people are risking their lives coming across the Channel. And when they get here, it does seem, and I think this is why a lot of Labour voters as well are saying there's something wrong, it feels like, 'Welcome, come on in'. That's the narrative we're being fed."
Rylan also claimed asylum seekers are provided with an iPad, stating: "Here's the iPad. Here's the NHS in reception of your hotel. Here's three meals a day. Here's a games room in the hotel. Have a lovely time and welcome."
