Despite the show's popularity, the cast members earn far less than viewers might expect. In a 2018 interview with Digital Spy, Chloe Patton revealed that the pay is not enough to cover her monthly bills. “People think you get millions, I’m like, why? Don’t put these thoughts into my head!” she said. “You get paid but it’s not life changing money. You couldn’t go out and buy a house. It wouldn’t even pay the bills every month.”

The exposure from Teen Mom UK has helped the stars build successful influencer and media careers. Chloe Patton, the most followed cast member on Instagram with 474,000 followers, has appeared on podcasts and partnered with brands like Emma. This additional income likely supplements their modest show salaries.
Sassi Simmonds Leaves the Show
Fans were saddened when Sassi Simmonds announced that Series 13 would be her last. In a statement, she said: “I’m forever grateful for everyone who’s supported me, watched me grow and stuck by me through every high and low. This journey changed my life and I’ll always be proud to have shared it with you all. But now it’s time for growth, peace, bigger goals and a whole new era. Trust me… we’re only just getting started.”
