Taylor Swift married Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden in New York on Friday night, with her wedding dress designed by Jonathan Anderson for Christian Dior Haute Couture. Swift's representative confirmed the news, stating that the bride and groom's wedding looks were created by Dior, with Anderson designing the ensembles in close collaboration with the couple. This marks Anderson's first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity.
The couple's shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and Swift wore Cartier jewellery. The ceremony was attended by numerous A-listers and sports stars, though pictures from inside the arena have yet to be released.
Who Is Jonathan Anderson?
Jonathan Anderson is a Northern Irish fashion designer who founded JW Anderson in 2008. The London-based label quickly gained attention for its conceptual androgynous designs and has become internationally renowned. In February 2023, Anderson designed singer Rihanna's red outfit for her Super Bowl halftime performance, where she announced her second pregnancy.
Anderson, 42, spent 11 years as creative director at Loewe before stepping down in March 2025. In June of that year, he took over both Dior men's and womenswear, becoming the first person to do so since the brand's founder. He debuted his first Dior collection later that month during a Paris fashion show attended by stars including Rihanna, Robert Pattinson, Daniel Craig, and Sabrina Carpenter. Anderson now splits his time between Paris and London.
