Tallulah Willis, daughter of Hollywood stars Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, has married musician Justin Acee. The couple tied the knot on Saturday during a ceremony in Sun Valley, Idaho, according to Vogue.
A Princess Moment
The 32-year-old writer and artist wore a strapless Balenciaga princess gown designed by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli. The dress featured a strapless bodice with a draped skirt, a bow on the back, and a long train.
Vogue joined Tallulah, her older sisters Rumer and Scout, and their mother for the final dress fitting ahead of the wedding. "I'm feeling almost out of body. I have my family here, I'm trying on this dress, being in kind of a princess moment," Willis told the publication.
The Gown's Creation
Moore recounted spending four hours with the designer during their first meeting to discuss the dress, adding: "I think he would have stayed there playing all day." The elaborate gown took 712 hours of work, including 405 hours of construction and atelier alterations, with an additional nine hours dedicated to the veil.
Willis said: "The best part of the dress is the magnitude. It's the thing that's getting me to my new husband. We made a decision at the very beginning of our relationship that we were going to choose each other every day. My biggest hope (for the dress) was that (it would be) something magical, but magical in a way that was unexpected, kind of like me. I've worked very hard to be comfortable in my own skin, to be in something that there's a strength in is profound for me. I've worked so hard in my life to be able to find that beauty every day… This is definitely a very special peak celebration moment of beauty."
Family Background
Willis's parents were married from 1987 to 2000. Her father is known for films such as Die Hard, The Sixth Sense, and Pulp Fiction, but has stepped away from his acting career amid health struggles. He has been married to model Emma Heming Willis for 17 years, with whom he has two children. Moore is famed for starring in blockbusters such as Ghost, A Few Good Men, and Indecent Proposal, and has won many major acting awards during her decades-long career.
