Robin Bourne-Taylor, the husband of Clarkson's Farm 'bird lady' Hannah Bourne-Taylor, is a former Olympic rower and decorated British Army officer. The couple married in 2015, and Hannah recently marked their 10th anniversary on X (formerly Twitter) with a post dedicated to him.

Military and Olympic Career

Robin served in the British Army from 2003 to 2011, including a deployment to Afghanistan. For his service, he was awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross, one of the highest military honors. He left active duty in 2010 and joined the Regular Army Reserve of Officers the following year.

As an Olympic rower, Robin competed at the 2004 Athens Olympics and the 2008 Beijing Games. He also won bronze medals at the 2003 Milan and 2007 Munich World Championships.

Life After Service

Since retiring from the military and competitive rowing, Robin has become a professional speaker, sharing insights from his experiences on the frontline and in elite sport. Between 2013 and 2021, Robin and Hannah lived abroad, including a period in rural Ghana, where Hannah developed her passion for bird conservation. The couple now resides in Oxfordshire with their two rescue dogs.

Hannah Bourne-Taylor gained attention as the 'bird lady' on Prime Video's Clarkson's Farm Season 5, which also featured Jeremy Clarkson's disclosure of his prostate cancer diagnosis and subsequent remission.
