River of Light is set to return to Liverpool city centre tonight (October 26) after three nights of cancellations caused by bad weather. The free illuminated artwork trail will run from 5pm to 9pm.
Event details and locations
This year's event features 13 artworks spread across Williamson Square, St Paul's Square, the Pier Head, Exchange Flags, Royal Albert Dock and Liverpool ONE. The installations are inspired by the theme of 'Together'.
The event was originally due to begin on Friday, October 23 but was suspended due to the weather. It was also cancelled over the weekend as yellow weather warnings for strong wind and rain were in place across Merseyside.
