Reuben Owen has issued a "sad" update regarding the future of his Channel 5 series Life in the Dales, confirming that the final episode of the current series will air on Tuesday, June 30. The young farmer, who first gained fame alongside his parents Amanda and Clive on Our Yorkshire Farm, has been fronting his own spin-off since 2024.

The Life in the Dales team shared the news on social media, writing: "Can't believe it's the last episode of the series... where have the last 8 weeks gone?" The post continued: "It's been an incredible series, and we've been genuinely blown away by all the lovely comments and support you've given us along the way." They added that the finale focuses on lambing, describing it as "one of the busiest, most emotional and rewarding times in the farming calendar." The team signed off with: "Hope you all enjoy it, we'll be back soon!"
