Newcastle's Shark Club will host a Coffee Rave 5K on August 9, combining a morning run with coffee, music, and socialising. The event starts at 8:30am at the sports bar on Gallowgate, with the run setting off at 9am through Leazes Park, Claremont Road, Hunters Moor, Spital Tongues, and back towards St James.
Post-Run Festivities
After the run, participants can enjoy coffee sponsored by Nespresso, a Peroni 0.0% pop-up, health shots, and a DJ playing feel-good tracks. Food, including brunch, will be available. Tickets cost £5, or £10 for a goodie bag with a doughnut from Deep North and a beer from Full Circle Brew Co.
Shark Club manager Kyran Woodcock said: "Coffee Rave 5K is all about bringing people together for something a little bit different. It should be a fun, welcoming run suitable for all, followed by great coffee, music and a brilliant social atmosphere."
Open to All
The event runs until noon and is open to everyone, from experienced runners to casual joggers. Woodcock added: "Whether people come with friends or arrive solo, everyone is welcome. It's a great way to get your Sunday off to the best possible start."
Fifty pence from each ticket sold will be donated to charity.
