Starz Theatre Cafe has opened in Seaham, County Durham, offering coffees named after famous musicals and themed afternoon teas.
Coffee Menu Inspired by Hit Shows
The cafe, located next to the Starz Performing Academy, welcomed its first customers on Saturday. Its menu features drinks such as The Phantom Latte, Defying Cappuccino, Les Mocharables, Starlight Espresso, The Greatest Flat White, and Beauty in the Tea.
First Themed Afternoon Tea
On Tuesday, August 18, Starz will host its first themed Afternoon Tea, with homemade sandwiches, sweet treats, and special surprises, including Bruce's famous Chocolate Fudge Cake. There will be two sittings at 12.15 and 2.15pm, with tickets priced at £19.95 for adults and £13.95 for children.
Opening Weekend Success
Starz took to Facebook to thank supporters: 'A HUGE thank you to every single person who came along to support us today at our Open Day! Honestly, it's been more than we could have asked for. The support, lovely comments, happy faces and incredible atmosphere have made all the hard work behind the scenes completely worth it! We're so grateful to everyone who has popped in, grabbed a coffee, had something to eat, shared our posts, told their friends and supported us in any way.'
Opening Hours
This week, Starz will be open from 10am-2pm and 4.30-6pm on Tuesday, 10am-2pm on Wednesday, 10am-2pm and 4-6pm on Thursday, 10am-2pm on Friday, 10am-3pm on Saturday, and 11am-2pm on Sunday.
