Former Love Island star Francesca Allen, 30, married her long-term partner, businessman Ed Crossan, 36, in an intimate civil ceremony at London's Marylebone Town Hall on 13 August. The wedding came nearly five years after Crossan surprised her with a festive proposal at London's Home House in December 2021.
Bridal details and attire
Francesca wore a bespoke, floor-length ivory gown with a dramatic bow detail, designed by British bridal designer Caroline Castigliano. She accessorised with a matching wide-brimmed hat, Chanel slingback block heels, and diamond jewellery from luxury jeweller Boodles. On the morning of the wedding, she declared “It's Coronation Day”, a nod to Elsa's coronation in Frozen.
Groom Ed complemented his bride in a pale blue suit with a traditional calla lily buttonhole. The bridal party spent the night before at the Landmark London hotel, where Francesca shared glimpses of her preparations, including silk bridal pyjamas, Buck's Fizz, and an in-room facial for “snatched faces” on the big day.
Guests and celebrations
Only a small number of loved ones witnessed the ceremony, including Francesca's nephew Tony Jr, her sister Claudia, and TOWIE star Elma Pazar, a fellow former Islander. Francesca's hair and make-up were by Joe Pickering-Taylor, who has worked with Emma Bunton and Laura Whitmore.
After the ceremony, Francesca was pictured holding the couple's dog Stormi during formal photographs, before departing in a vintage two-seat convertible Mercedes-Benz. Francesca had joked two weeks before the wedding, “I still don't have an outfit”.
Future wedding plans
The couple are now planning a larger wedding celebration abroad. Francesca revealed, “Now time to plan the next. Not long now!” While the destination is private, she previously told OK! that Italy was high on her list: “Italy's just beautiful and I've loved it when I've been there, and I've got a bit of Italian in my family. The food's good in Italy, you can't really beat it.”
