Gerard (Gerry) Fisher
Gerard (Gerry) Fisher died suddenly on 23rd August 2026, aged 78 years. His funeral service and committal will be held on Thursday 10th September at Anfield Crematorium at 2pm. Family flowers only are requested, but donations to The Smile Train Charity will be accepted on the day. Following the service, the family invites all who knew Gerry to The Silvestrian Suites to share memories.
Val Forrester and Anthony Albert (Tony) Garnett
Val Forrester, of Hinckley, passed away peacefully in Moat House Care Home on 26th August 2026, aged 86 years. The funeral service will take place at the Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton, on Friday 2nd October at 1.15pm. Family flowers only are requested, with donations to Breast Cancer UK.
Anthony Albert (Tony) Garnett passed away at his home in Blackpool on Sunday 16th August 2026, aged 81 years. A service will be held at Carleton Cemetery Chapel on Wednesday 9th September at 1.15pm, followed by burial in the cemetery grounds.
Denis Patrick Gleeson and Keith Greenidge
Denis Patrick Gleeson passed away aged 83 years. His funeral service will be held at 12.45pm on Wednesday 16th September at Thornton Crematorium. Family flowers only are requested, with donations to Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
Keith Greenidge passed away peacefully at Arrowe Park Hospital on 18th August 2026, aged 79 years. His funeral service will be held at St Bridget's Church on Wednesday 9th September 2026 at 11.45am, followed by burial at Toxteth Cemetery at 1.00pm.
Julian Armstrong Hopkins and Theresa Veronica Lacey
Julian Armstrong Hopkins passed away peacefully on 12th August 2026, aged 81 years. A service will be held at West Lancashire Crematorium on Tuesday 8th September 2026 at 11:30am. Family flowers only are requested, with donations to Alder Hey Children's Charity.
Theresa Veronica Lacey (nee Wilson) sadly passed away on 20th August 2026, aged 84 years. A Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday 16th September 2026 at 12.00 hours at Mount Carmel, High Park Street, Liverpool, followed by burial at Allerton Cemetery.
Gladys Leitch and Graham Maddocks
Gladys Leitch passed away peacefully on 20th August 2026, aged 95 years. The funeral service will take place at St Giles Church, Aintree Lane, Aintree, on Thursday 10th September 2026 at 10:45am, followed by the committal at Thornton Crematorium at 12noon. Donations in memory of Gladys may be made to British Cochlear Implant Group (BCIG) or Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID).
Graham Maddocks passed away peacefully on Wednesday 26th August 2026, aged 82 years. A private funeral service will be held at Southport Crematorium. Family flowers only are requested, with donations to British Red Cross.

Mary Mussell (Simms) passed away, with heartfelt sympathy to Maurice and family from her sister Pat.

Ann Marina Wong passed away on Friday 14th August 2026 at Broadgreen Hospital, aged 74. A funeral service will be held Thursday 10th September at 2pm at St Charles Church, Aigburth Road, before cremation at Springwood Crematorium at 3:30pm, followed by a reception at Calderstones Park, The Reader Mansion House. Donations to The British Heart Foundation are requested.
