Jeremy Clarkson in Tears as He Announces 'Very Difficult News' from Diddly Squat
Jeremy Clarkson in Tears Over 'Very Difficult' Farm News

Jeremy Clarkson had to blink away tears in a new social media video as he made an announcement about the upcoming episodes of Clarkson’s Farm. The Prime Video hit drops the final two instalments of series five at midnight (June 17), and Jeremy has warned it will be a “really, really difficult watch” with some heartbreaking moments.

Addressing fans on Instagram, the former Grand Tour star said: “Hello everybody. I’ve got some good news and some sombre news. Good news is that Hawkstone has finally had an advert accepted, and it’ll be shown just before kick-off in the England match tomorrow evening. Sombre news – Clarkson’s Farm. Erm… ordinarily we try to keep the show bucolic and charming and cheerful. Erm… but the final two episodes, which drop in the middle of the night tonight, are… they’re none of those things, really. They’re a difficult watch. They’re really, really difficult.” He teared up at the end of the segment, blinking and looking away from the camera.

The series has already been an emotional one, marred by Jeremy’s own health troubles after he was rushed to hospital with heart problems. He also had to say goodbye to his beloved pigs, who were taken off to be slaughtered.

Fans rushed to support Jeremy in the comments section, with one telling him: “You promised us warts and all, so here we are. This is the most real insight to farming that anyone on here (who isn’t involved in farming) has ever seen. Thank you for this.” Another said: “I have waiting to watch the whole series as I like to binge watch it. I hear there will be a season 6 so that is some good news.” A third fan echoed: “Farming is not for the faint hearted. It’s hard and it’s horrible then it’s great and glorious. You have done an incredible job of showing it warts and all. You all have.”
