James Farrar's marriage and forgotten EastEnders past

James Farrar, known for his role as Zack Hudson in EastEnders, has been at the centre of a gripping storyline involving his on-screen son Barney Mitchell. In a recent episode, Barney revealed he had found a hammer that could have been used to assault Joel Marshall, and later uncovered a bag of marijuana with Zack's help. Despite Zack's offer to speak to Nugget's parents, Barney urged him to stay quiet, saying: "But everything's already so messed up with Avani. Please, Zack."

James Farrar's Background and Career

Born in Greenwich, London, Farrar studied drama and media at the University of Portsmouth, graduating in 2008, before attending the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2010. The 39-year-old is also a qualified personal trainer and vegan chef, and worked as a model before turning to acting. He quit modelling due to a family situation, explaining: "One of the reasons I joined EastEnders was because of my mum, who has cancer. It meant that if these are my last days with her, we spent them together rather than me travelling the world."

Farrar's first appearance on EastEnders was not as Zack; he made his acting debut in the soap in 2011, playing a teenager named Brendan. He has also appeared in Hollyoaks as Liam Gilmore, as well as in Silent Witness, Doctors, and Call the Midwife.
