Michael De Cozar, the porter from ITV's Inside The Ritz, has died at the age of 69. The Ritz London confirmed his passing and paid tribute to their "dear colleague".
Hotel pays tribute to 'cherished' porter
In a statement, The Ritz Hotel said: "We are deeply saddened to confirm the passing of our Head Hall Porter and dear colleague, Michael De Cozar."
"Michael was a cherished member of the Hall Porter team and dedicated 53 years of his life to The Ritz London. Throughout his remarkable career, he became a much-loved and familiar face to generations of colleagues and guests alike."

The hotel added: "We are profoundly grateful for Michael’s dedication, loyalty, and exceptional service to The Ritz. His warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working with him, as well as by our many guests who knew and loved him."
