Helen Skelton has confirmed that filming is underway for the third series of her BBC programme, Lost and Found in the Lakes. The Morning Live presenter, currently on summer break from her regular show, shared behind-the-scenes glimpses on Instagram.
In one clip, Skelton is seen in front of a lake, panning the camera to show the surrounding landscape. Another image shows her in the water with a crew member, while a video captures a diver putting on goggles to scour the lakebed.
Fans React to the Return
The post quickly drew excited comments from fans. One wrote: "Love this programme & the whole team." The series first aired in 2024 and has been a hit with audiences. Although no official return date has been announced, the past two seasons premiered in January, suggesting the third series could land in early 2027. Lost and Found in the Lakes is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
