Helen George has opened up about her romance with her secret boyfriend who died after a battle with leukaemia. The Call The Midwife star shared details of their relationship and how he has come through in clairvoyance readings.
Relationship revealed
A few weeks ago, Helen revealed that her boyfriend had died after being diagnosed with leukaemia. She learned of his diagnosis shortly before travelling to the Bahamas to film the ITV show Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters.
She recalled that they had been dating, with things "pretty serious from the start." Admitting it was tough, she said: "It was really hard; I felt awful. I wanted to nurture and help and love and all the rest of it."
Messages from beyond
Speaking on her Mystic Mates podcast, Helen said the clairvoyant had spoken to her again, and the mystery man came through once more. She recalled: "First of all, she talked about my father's mother coming through and very sort of familiar things. And then she was like, 'Oh, yes, okay, in a minute,' and started talking to this sort of thing in the room. And she was like, 'Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm just... I wanna talk from her nan first.' And then she said, 'There's this really impatient man that's trying to get through to me. He wants to speak to you.' And she said, 'He's a partner', and it was him again."
Helen said the man told her he was looking after her, adding: "He's not very happy about the situation you've found yourself in. Everything he said about my situation was based in fact and truth and everything I was experiencing and feeling. I cried because it was so wonderful to think this person, whom I didn't really know for that long, was there looking after me."
Rose quartz and music
Helen recalled giving him a rose quartz when he was diagnosed, saying: "I give those to people when they're not having a good time." The clairvoyant said he wanted to give it back to her, and Helen said she never knew what happened to it. She also gave him gloves and a hat for chemo to keep him warm.
The clairvoyant said he wanted to wrap a blanket around her and look after her. She also mentioned a letter, saying: "He really loved his music when he passed, and she opened the letter, and in it she's saying, 'Unforgettable. She's got to listen to Nat, Nat King Cole's Unforgettable.'"
Helen said she feels like he is 'wrapping himself' around her and protecting her from where he is now.
