A beloved Gardeners' World presenter has been honoured with a new plant named after her. The vibrant perennial, which flowers throughout the summer, is set to be a hit with gardeners.
A Colourful Addition to Gardens
The plant, a type of hardy geranium, produces striking purple-blue flowers and is perfect for borders and containers. It was bred by a specialist nursery and officially named at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
A Personal Touch
The presenter expressed her delight, saying, "I'm absolutely thrilled and flattered to have such a beautiful plant named after me. It's a real honour." The plant is expected to be available in garden centres from next spring.
