Former Coronation Street star Cassie Bradley has landed a major role in the highly anticipated sequel Practical Magic 2, joining Hollywood icons Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman. The 32-year-old actress will portray Hannah, a young witch whose emerging magical abilities trigger significant events as she learns to control her powers.

Bradley's character Hannah is described as a witch whose powers begin to surface, setting off a chain of events that challenge her as she grapples with the consequences of her actions. Notably, Evan Rachel Wood will not reprise her role as Kylie from the original film. Wood confirmed on social media last year: "I offered my services, even if it was one scene or one line. I was told they are recasting. I am sorry to disappoint the fans. It was not in my control or my choice. I would have happily rejoined my sisters."
