Emmerdale star Jeff Hordley has made a rare confession about his home life with wife Zoe Henry, revealing their shared love for returning to the same holiday destination multiple times.
Jeff Hordley Discusses Holiday Traditions
Appearing on the YouTube vodcast Dingle Court alongside co-star Eden Taylor-Draper, who plays Belle Dingle, Hordley opened up about his family's vacation habits. Taylor-Draper initiated the topic, saying, "I'm going to bring to the table going to the same place on holiday more than three, four, or five times. Where are you at on that, Jeff?"
Hordley responded enthusiastically: "I'm with it. I'm with it. And I'll tell you why. Certainly, when my children were younger, it was nice for them to have some continuity, and for me and Zoe also to have some continuity." He explained that they frequented the same resort, knowing the restaurants and beach, though they didn't always stay at the same accommodation.
"So, yeah, I'm with that because you know the lay of the land. So, if you like something, then surely you've got to go back," he added.

Taylor-Draper admitted she wouldn't visit the same place more than three or four times. Hordley reflected on his younger self, saying, "When I was younger, like in my twenties, like yourself, I would always go, 'Why did my auntie and uncle always go to the same place all the time?' Because I thought it was really boring. Here I am, you know, in my 50s, and I do that."
Jeff Hordley and Zoe Henry's Relationship
Hordley joined Emmerdale in 2000 as Cain Dingle, becoming one of the soap's most iconic characters. He met Zoe Henry, who plays Rhona Goskirk, at drama school in 1994. The couple married and have two children: daughter Violet (born in 2005) and son Stan (born in 2008).
In a 2022 appearance on Lorraine, Henry shared, "We got together at drama school. We've been together 28 years. With the connection on set, we were together for 10 years before that as well. We got together in 1994, I believe."
Hordley previously told Soaplife magazine in 2011, "We met at drama school in 1994. I saw Zoe and realised she was the girl for me. I made moves and, fortunately, she said yes on that occasion too."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8:00pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
