Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has paid a heartfelt tribute to his daughter Sienna on her 13th birthday, saying her arrival changed his life forever. The actor, known for playing Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap, shared a series of pictures on Instagram showing the pair together over the years, from her birth to recent holidays.
A Life-Changing Arrival
Alan, from Walkden, welcomed Sienna with his ex-wife and former Corrie star Lucy-Jo Hudson during their marriage in 2012. The couple split in March 2016 and divorced in 2018, but have since co-parented their daughter. On Monday, September 7, Alan marked the milestone of Sienna officially becoming a teenager.
In his post, Alan wrote: "7th September 2013… the day my beautiful little girl came into the world and the day my life changed forever."
Words of Love and Pride
He continued: "Sienna, I honestly don’t think words will ever be enough to explain just how much I love you or how incredibly proud I am to be your Dad. Watching you grow into the beautiful, kind, talented and amazing young woman you are becoming makes my heart burst with pride. You have the most beautiful heart, and I hope you always know just how special you are."
The soap star added: "Thirteen years ago, you gave my life a whole new meaning. Becoming your Dad has been, without question, the greatest thing that has ever happened to me and will always be my proudest achievement."
