Hundreds of fans of TV and gaming dressed as their favourite characters and headed to Newport for Comic Con Wales 2026, held at the International Convention Centre Wales on Saturday, August 8, and continuing on Sunday, August 9.
The event brings together some of the biggest names from television, film, gaming, anime and comics, alongside immersive attractions, cosplay, exclusive merchandise and interactive experiences for fans of all ages.
Guests and Attractions
Fans can meet celebrity guests, attend live panels and Q&A sessions, explore immersive experiences, browse hundreds of artists and traders' stalls, celebrate cosplay, spend time in the gaming zone, or enjoy family entertainment.
Among the 2026 guest line-up was Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp, former Doctor Peter Capaldi, The Vampire Diaries' Bonnie Bennett, as well as Felicia Day, Kim Rhodes and Briana Buckmaster.

Cosplay Highlights
Attendees dressed up as their favourite characters, known as cosplaying. 'Artist Alley' offered a chance to browse hundreds of traders, independent artists and exhibitors and pick up precious items.
Fans, like one Star Wars pilot, gathered at the ICC Wales over two days. Former Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi made an appearance this year. Other sights included a not-so-typical Santa, a fan dressed as supervillain Harley Quinn, and one woman who brought a massive prop with her.
