One of the UK’s largest comic conventions is returning to Manchester this weekend with two days of international guests, exclusive stalls and live entertainment.

Comic Con Manchester, which has been running since 2019, will return to the BEC Arena, in Trafford, on Saturday and Sunday (July 25-26) where it will feature a line-up of stars from across movies, TV, and gaming.
Some of the biggest names to attend the event will include Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel and Bones actor David Boreanaz, who will appear on Saturday only, and Oscar-winning actress Helen Hunt, who will be in attendance on Sunday.
Doctor Who and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Michelle Gomez, Dexter star Julie Benz, Bones actress Emily Deschanel, and Buffy star James Marsters are also set to appear across the weekend, as will Game of Thrones actors Finn Jones and Gethin Anthony, who respectively played Loras Tyrell and Renly Baratheon in the hit HBO fantasy series.
Other big names will include Charisma Carpenter, Tommy Flanagan, Jennifer Hale, Nathan Kress, Manu Bennett and Carrie Henn, who appeared in Aliens. Across the weekend, guests will be able to meet stars, buy signed photographs and even take part in photo-shoots alongside their favourite actors as special mementos of the day.

In addition to the famous faces appearing, the big event will also feature the opportunity to explore the spiralling Artist Alley shopping experience featuring a range of traders and artists selling merchandise, gifts and prints.
There will also be cosplay championships and a number of Q&A panels from some of the big names, including discussions specific to Buffy and Angel, Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, Mortal Kombat, Predator and Bones.
Comic Con Manchester, which is organised by Monopoly Events, will also feature a special gaming zone equipped with retro and modern consoles, tabletop games and interactive experiences. There will also be a big family entertainment set-up with activities, workshops and attractions.

Tickets and Venue
A range of tickets, which start from £12.10 and span from standard entry to Diamond passes, are available from the Comic Con Manchester website, which also has the details of which stars will appear across Saturday and Sunday.
