Coleen Nolan could be the latest celebrity to bring farm life to television after showcasing her rural lifestyle on This Morning.
The Loose Women presenter recently gave viewers a glimpse into life on her farm in Dilhorne, Staffordshire Moorlands, where she spends much of her time caring for her animals and carrying out the daily jobs that come with running the property.
Life on the farm
The feature highlighted Coleen's hands-on approach to farm life, with around 30 animals living on the six-acre property. Her collection includes horses Paddy and Bojack, as well as goats, cats and chickens.
Her family also features heavily in life on the farm. Daughter Ciara and her partner live in a separate annex on the grounds, while Coleen's son lives nearby.
Following the segment, This Morning presenters Craig Doyle and Angela Scanlon praised how happy Coleen appeared in her rural surroundings, with Angela even comparing her to farming television favourite Jeremy Clarkson.
Celebrity farming trend
The comparison comes as celebrity-led farming shows continue to attract audiences, raising the possibility that Coleen could eventually front a programme of her own.
One of the biggest successes in the genre is Amazon Prime Video's Clarkson's Farm, which follows former motoring presenter Jeremy Clarkson as he attempts to manage his 1,000-acre farm in the Cotswolds. The series documents Clarkson's often complicated attempts to make a success of farming, with help from local experts, including farmer Kaleb Cooper. Its popularity has helped establish celebrity farming as a successful format in its own right.
Coleen could also follow in the footsteps of Amanda Owen, whose family life on a Yorkshire farm was documented in Our Yorkshire Farm. The series later evolved into Our Farm Next Door, which focuses on the family's efforts to renovate and restore a farmhouse.
Another celebrity to make the move into farming was former Emmerdale actor Kelvin Fletcher. His series, Kelvin's Big Farming Adventure, followed him and his family after they moved to a 120-acre farm in the Peak District, where he attempted to learn the realities of raising livestock and managing farmland.
A lifelong dream
For Coleen, however, farm life is not simply a television opportunity. Owning the property fulfilled a dream she had held since childhood. She bought the six-acre farm in 2024, motivated largely by her love of animals and her desire to give her pets and rescue animals plenty of space.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
