Longchamp has launched a new bag style, the Le Cadence, which combines the signature leather tab of the classic Le Pliage with a bucket bag silhouette and supple calf leather finish. The style icon Alexa Chung has been spotted carrying the black version in New York, pairing it with a khaki shirt, Bermuda shorts, a black studded belt, black kitten heels and black sunglasses.
A practical yet stylish work bag
Crafted from smooth, full-grain cowhide leather, the Le Cadence features a spacious, laptop-friendly interior and a wide adjustable strap. The relaxed silhouette is designed for office days, and it is available in five colourways: black, tan, vanilla, brown and burgundy.
Pricing and availability
The Le Cadence L is priced at £545 on Longchamp.com, while a smaller crossbody version, the Le Cadence S, costs £415. Longchamp bags are known for being among the more affordable luxury styles, with the Le Pliage tote at £115, the Le Foulonné at £360 and the Le Roseau at £445.
