Earlier this week, the first full trailer for Avengers Doomsday landed. Robert Downey Jr returns to the MCU, but this time as the villainous Dr Doom. Meanwhile, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers are also back in a blockbuster sequel to Avengers Endgame that’s once again directed by the Russo Brothers, alongside 2027’s Avengers Secret Wars.
Now, some Marvel fans may have dropped off the MCU with 2019’s Endgame, which concluded the Infinity Saga (Phases 1-3). Let’s be honest, the Multiverse Saga (Phases 4-6), which Doomsday and Secret Wars are concluding, has been pretty hit and miss.
