Day two of the Mouth of Tyne Festival at Tynemouth Priory brought together great music and glorious sunshine, creating a perfect recipe for fun on Friday, July 11, 2026. After The K's kicked off the party mood on the first of four music-filled days at the coast, Friday's crowds were treated to another big event.
Festival Atmosphere and Lineup
The festival, set against the backdrop of Tynemouth Priory, provided ideal photo opportunities. Festival-goers in upbeat moods and colourful outfits added to the summer vibe as evening advanced and the sun began to set. The Friday lineup featured Utah Saints and Ellie Sax before headliners Ministry of Sound Classical took the stage. The music-loving crowd enjoyed every anthem on a beautiful night by the coast.
Upcoming Performances
On Saturday night, Heidi Curtis will perform before headline act Self-Esteem takes the spotlight. Organised by North Tyneside Council, the festival has confirmed it will not show the England vs Norway match. The event wraps up on Sunday with headliner James. Chroniclelive will continue to provide photo coverage of the fun-loving fans.
Fans can see if they spot themselves or someone they know in the 57 images captured on Friday night, including photos of Ellie Sax performing at the festival.
