The royal family shared photos on Monday showing the children in their school uniforms, with Jacques wearing a red polo top and jeans, and Gabriella in a matching polo with a navy pleated skirt.
Gabriella's outfit included huggie hoop earrings and a necklace, which are typically forbidden in many schools due to health and safety concerns. HELLO!'s Fashion and Beauty News Editor Laura Sutcliffe commented that while the earrings are not too large, she would advise caution for children under ten to avoid accidents during physical activities.
Princess Charlene accompanied her children on their first day, dressed in navy wide-leg trousers, a white shirt, and tan platform sandals. Her classic and timeless outfit was praised by Sutcliffe as suitable for the school run, the office, or an evening out with the right accessories.
The twins' return to school followed a rare public appearance with their parents at the annual Monagasque picnic in Princess Antoinette Park. Gabriella wore a floral dress by Dior Kids, retailing at £900, while Jacques mirrored his father in chinos and a navy blazer. Earlier, the children attended a press conference for Prince Albert's 20th anniversary on the throne, where Charlene joked that they help her stay young but are hard to control.
