British Teenager in Critical Condition After Costa Brava Incident
A 14-year-old British teenager is fighting for her life after a near-drowning incident on the Costa Brava in Spain. The young girl was pulled from the sea at the popular holiday resort of Lloret de Mar and remains in a critical condition in hospital.

The incident occurred around 11:30 am yesterday. Reports indicate the teenager was in the water with other friends from the UK when she was swept out to sea by a wave. The sea conditions were described as choppy with strong currents at the time.
Two police officers jumped into the water to rescue the girl, an action that is credited with saving her life. Following the rescue, three ambulances raced to the scene to provide emergency medical assistance.
Hospital Treatment and Ongoing Situation
The British girl was admitted to the intensive care unit at Josep Trueta Hospital in the nearby Catalan city of Girona. She had suffered a cardiac arrest following the incident and her condition is understood to be critical.
